There are numerous marches taking place across the country to give people chance to pay their respects to a poor little boy who lived an appalling life and died such a tragic, unnecessary death. This campaign is an opportunity for people to pay their respects to a little boy who was so cruelly tortured at the hands of those who were supposed to protect him. It is also to raise awareness of child cruelty.
This is a peaceful, family demonstration where children are welcome to come along. The intention is to give Baby P some dignity in death, which he was so cruelly denied in life.
We plan to meet at Pittville Pump Rooms at 11am on 13th Dec and walk through the town, (route TBC) stopping at the Imperial Gardens to say a few prayers.
At 12.10pm, the time Baby P was pronounced dead. Everyone is welcome to release a blue hellium balloon with a personal message attached.
If you buy your balloon from Banners & Balloons, Lower High Street, Cheltenham, for every £1 balloon sold 25p will be donated to the NSPCC!!
DETAILS OF HOW TO PURCHASE AND COLLECT YOUR BALLOON WILL BE POSTED HERE SHORTLY AND PUBLISHED IN THE LOCAL PRESS!
Any other money raised on the day will also be donated to the NSPCC.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ‘NAMING AND SHAMING’ ANY PERSONS LINKED TO THE BABY P CASE. I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE ARE ALL VERY ANGRY ABOUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS PAGE MAY BE SHUT DOWN DUE TO LEGAL REASONS IF NAMES, ADDRESSES AND PHOTOGRAPHS ARE POSTED.
I am currently discussing the intended route with the local council and will post more information as it becomes available.
